Este estudio se enfatiza en analizar el Bitcoin y la tecnológica Blockchain desde la óptica de las entidades financieras del municipio de Maicao, realizando una revisión de antecedentes doctrinales Tapscott (2017), iglesias (2016), Montoya (2016), Zemlianskaia (2017), Torres (2019), Rojas (2018), Vergara (2017), Tempestilli (2018) entre otros. Referidos a las variables de investigación Bitcoin y la tecnología Blockchain, así como de las teorías conceptuales de mayor importancia para el avance de las mismas. Para ello se logró desarrollar una investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo positivista, de tipo descriptivo, con un diseño de campo no experimental, transversal descriptivo, tomando una población objeto, con una muestra representativa de 6 entidades financieras y 18 encuestados, el cual se desarrolló un cuestionario simple tipo Likert de 30 preguntas, con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos propuestos y medir las variables de estudio. La encuesta validada mediante el juicio de 4 expertos en del área de estudio, con un grado de confiabilidad de 0.98, ubicándola en un rango de muy alta confiabilidad. Se puede concluir que el Bitcoin y la tecnología Blockchain abren un interesante abanico de posibilidades para los contratos inteligentes ya que se han convertido en uno de los mayores focos de interés de la industria financiera, y de otros tantos sectores.

This study focuses on analyzing Bitcoin and Blockchain technology from the perspective of financial entities in the municipality of Maicao, conducting a review of doctrinal background Tapscott (2017), Iglesias (2016), Montoya (2016), Zemlianskaia (2017), Torres (2019), Rojas (2018), Vergara (2017), Tempestilli (2018) among others. Referring to the research variables Bitcoin and Blockchain technology, as well as the most important conceptual theories for their advancement. For this, it was possible to develop an investigation with a positivist quantitative approach, of a descriptive type, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional descriptive field design, taking an object population, with a representative sample of 6 financial entities and 18 respondents, which was developed a Simple Likert-type questionnaire with 30 questions, in order to achieve the proposed objectives and measure the study variables. The survey validated by the judgment of 4 experts in the study area, with a degree of reliability of 0.98, placing it in a range of very high reliability. It can be concluded that Bitcoin and Blockchain technology open up an interesting range of possibilities for smart contracts since they have become one of the main focuses of interest in the financial industry, and in many other sectors.
