Modelo de atención integral para la salud sexual y reproductiva en familias wayuu del Distrito Especial, Turístico y Cultural de Riohacha

Abstract

El propósito general de la presente investigación fue Analizar el modelo de atención integral para la salud sexual y reproductiva en familias wayuu del Distrito Especial Turístico y Cultural de Riohacha. Para ello se tomaron como categorías de estudio los componentes del Modelo Integral de atención en Salud, sus efectos; La cosmovisión en la Salud sexual y reproductiva y finalmente las características de la educación asociada a la Salud sexual y reproductiva en las familias wayuu de Riohacha. Entre los principales referentes teóricos se citan a MSPS (2016), Cortes (2016), Salamanca (2016) Hoyos (2016, Pacheco (2015) entre otros. En cuanto a los aspectos metodológicos, la investigación se circunscribe dentro del enfoque cualitativo, tomando los criterios de la investigación de tipo descriptiva, interpretativa fenomenológica. El estudio toma como población los funcionarios adscritos a las IPS de Riohacha como a los representantes de las familias wayuu ubicadas en Riohacha. La técnica de recolección de datos fue la entrevista en profundidad y el instrumento el guión de entrevista y el registro de observación. Para el análisis se utilizó el método de triangulación de fuentes. Entre los principales resultados se puede mencionar que en los cuatro años de implementación del MIAS, el alcance y cobertura de la atención y el acceso a los servicios para las familias wayuu no ha llenado las expectativas para lo cual fue implementado. Igualmente existen temáticas relacionadas a la cosmovisión del wayuu que no fueron consideradas en su aplicación, dejando vulnerable sus estados de salud por el deficiente servicio en las IPS. En conclusión, se puede decir que este es un problema que se ha venido presentado y que necesita de ajustes que involucren la cosmovisión wayuu para encontrar la efectividad dentro de las políticas públicas en salud en el país y dentro de las cuales los wayúu tienen derechos inalienables como beneficiaros de la salud subsidiada.

The general purpose of this research was to analyze the comprehensive care model for sexual and reproductive health in Wayuu families of the Special Tourist and Cultural District of Riohacha. For this, the components of the Comprehensive Health Care Model, its effects, were taken as study categories; The cosmovision in sexual and reproductive health and finally the characteristics of education associated with sexual and reproductive health in the Wayúu families of Riohacha. Among the main theoretical references are MSPS (2016), Cortes (2016), Salamanca (2016) Hoyos (2016, Pacheco (2015) among others. Regarding methodological aspects, the research is circumscribed within the qualitative approach, taking descriptive, interpretive phenomenological research criteria. The study takes as population the officials assigned to the IPS of Riohacha as the representatives of the Wayuu families located in Riohacha. The data collection technique was the in-depth interview and the instrument the interview script and the observation record. The source triangulation method was used for the analysis. Among the main results it can be mentioned that in the four years of MIAS implementation, the scope and coverage of care and access services for Wayúu families has not met the expectations for which it was implemented. There are also issues related to the cosmo vision of the Wayúu that were not considered in its application, leaving their health status vulnerable due to the deficient service in the IPS. In conclusion, it can be said that this is a problem that has been presented and that it needs adjustments that involve the Wayúu worldview to find the effectiveness within the public health policies in the country and within which the Wayúu have inalienable rights how to benefit from subsidized health.
