Pero lo más preocupante es que en algunos países la deserción se da una vez que terminan el ciclo primario, y normalmente durante el transcurso del primer año de la enseñanza madia. Por tal motivo el objetivo de la presente investigación es analizar el conflicto social y su incidencia en la deserción escolar en la institución educativa técnica rural agrícola de Tomarrazón del Distrito de Riohacha, La Guajira. El estudio se basa teóricamente los aportes de Lanail (2006); Álvarez (2006); Boggino (2003); OEI (2007); entre otros autores. En cuanto a la metodología, se hará un estudio bajo el enfoque cualitativo, de tipo investigación acción, con un diseño de investigación de estudio de caso, utilizando un instrumento de recolección como lo es la entrevista profunda.To talk about school drop-out is to talk about an institutional problem, according to the document published by CELPAL (2002), about 15 million Latin American teenagers between 15 and 19 years of age leave school throughout school year, and half of those who drop out do so early, before completing primary education.
