Los sujetos informantes escogidos para desarrollar este trabajo fueron personas que realizan labores mineras como palero, propietario o conductor de volqueta con material de arrastre en el municipio de Villanueva, La Guajira. Así mismo, este estudio es de carácter cualitativo que se sitúa primordialmente en el método etnográfico para analizar los antagonismos frente a la delimitación y declaración de un ARE para ejecutar y formalizar la minería de material de arrastre en el municipio de Villanueva, La Guajira, apoyándose en técnicas de recolección de datos como la entrevista, observación y observación participante. En la búsqueda de responsabilidades sobre esta situación están incluidos tanto la parte institucional como la comunidad minera del municipio generando un conflicto intragrupal, el cual con su escalada y entrampamiento los subdivide en grupos, ocasionando problemáticas intergrupales. A pesar de esto, las partes tienen la disposición de iniciar procesos que los ayude a solucionar las dificultades tanto en la comunidad minera como con la institucionalidad.This research analyzes the existing conflict in the mining community dedicated to the extraction of drag material between 2016 and 2017, based on the regulations that regulate the ARE Special Reserve Areas in the municipality of Villanueva, based on different applications theoretical as those of Leonardo Güiza, Mónica Ramírez Guerrero, among others, and the regulations that govern the mechanisms of mining formalization. The informant subjects chosen to develop this work were people who perform mining tasks as a drainer, owner or dump truck driver with drag material in the municipality of Villanueva, La Guajira. Likewise, this study is of a qualitative nature that is located primarily in the ethnographic method to analyze the antagonisms against the delimitation and declaration of an ARE to execute and formalize the mining of drag material in the municipality of Villanueva, La Guajira, relying on in data collection techniques such as interview, observation and participant observation. In the search for responsibilities regarding this situation, both the institutional part and the mining community of the municipality are included, generating an intragroup conflict, which with its escalation and entrapment subdivides them into groups, causing intergroup problems.
